Gio Ponti: In this house I played with diamond-shaped volumes, as I like to do, with the contrast of the solid, projecting volumes that rest on the empty spaces of the windows, and with the materials I love: silvery aluminium and gray, diamond-faceted tiles, very fine in their effect. The staircase is a kaleidoscopic pattern of colours, extending over five floors.
